Daniel Beard sits on his handcarved American Walnut bed, made nearly 80 years ago for his father. Daniel and his late wife built a business of selling antiques from the first floor of their 19th century home in Bristow, VA. Recently they were able to file the house under the Prince William Historical Register, saving it from potential destruction as road construction continues to sprawl through the west end of the county.
