Quinton Dances

Quinton Talbott, dances as head male dancer at the annual Monacan Powwow, on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Each dancer is expected to create their own regalia. Because the Monacans were not federally recognized until January 2018, what might normally be eagle feathers (illegal for anyone to own outside of federally recognized tribes) is often substituted with turkey or hawk feathers.
