Walter Hjelt, traveled from Philadelphia bringing 3 buses of Haverford College students to participate in the Women's March on Washington where an anticipated 200,000 people turned into an estimated 500,000 to 1 million people, on Saturday, January 21, 2017. when asked about his hopes for the next 4 years, Hjelt said, "...that some of what Ivanka's dad said about getting jobs for people who were left out, actually happens...that the moral bankruptcy of the Republican party is revealed and they come up with a better agenda...and I hope we don't go to war..."
